    SUZANO celebrates the successful delivery of the first 77000 tons wood pulp transport ship, Green Santos   On December 22nd, SUZANO and COSCO Shipping celebrated the successful delivery of the "Green Santos" ship in Dalian, which was the first ship specially designed and built by COSCO Shipping for SUZANO.   The ship has been put into operation at Dalian Shipyard, a subsidiary of COSCO Shipping Group, with a deadweight tonnage of up to 77000 tons, surpassing other similar wood pulp transport ships worldwide and adopting advanced environmental protection technology.   Starting from 2024, the "Green Santos" ship will transport wood pulp products from the Santos port in Brazil to various parts of the world, especially China. There are a total of six specialized transport ships provided by COSCO Shipping Special Transport, and the other five ships with similar loading capacity will be delivered in the first half of 2024. This batch of ships is specifically designed to meet the surge in demand for wood pulp exports brought about by the production of the SUZANO Brazil Cerrado factory in 2024.   After completion, the SUZANO Eucalyptus Nocerado factory will become a super large global pulp mill with an annual production capacity of 2.55 million tons. The total wood pulp production capacity of the company will also increase by about 25% as a result.
