Dyper baby diapers inject vitality into the market

The Dyper diaper brand focuses on environmental protection and is committed to reducing diaper waste. In 2023, the company successfully converted used diapers into biochar using Byochar technology. Biochar is a carbon rich product produced through a heating process called pyrolysis. It can convert waste into reusable goods, improve soil environment, help purify air and water, and can be used as an additive for pigments and inks.

The Byochar reactor made its debut in a specific market in 2023. After being put into use, Dyper will be able to convert used diapers into usable goods, reducing landfill waste and global greenhouse gas emissions.

Dyper diapers are made from plant-based materials, and the company has transformed over 11.5 million pounds of discarded diapers and wet wipes that were supposed to be transported to landfills into nutrient rich topsoil through the Redyper project for large-scale landscaping, roadside planting, and grass growth. With the deployment of Byochar technology, it will gradually replace the Redyper project.

Dyper's founder and CEO Sergio Radovcic said, "Although there is no panacea to solve the dilemma of plastic diapers, we have an obligation to constantly seek solutions. We started with composting, but we are also fully aware of the difficulties of large-scale composting. Through this innovation, we will bring modular processing technology to supplement or replace some composting, reduce processing and transfer time. We are pleased to see that through efforts, waste can be transformed into more beneficial substances for the Earth."
